Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted the 2026 edition of the Triad Collab debate event on June 21, 2026, across rooms A534, A535, A537, and A556 in Aditayathorn Building.
The annual tradition brought together 18 debaters from MUIC, Chulalongkorn University, and Rangsit University for an informal day of parliamentary debate. Originally established between MUIC, Chulalongkorn, and Thammasat University, the Triad Collab provides regional intercollegiate debaters with a friendly platform to connect outside standard competitive circuits.
While operating under formal debate structures, this year’s tournament incorporated casual elements, including debate topics ranging from theoretical “meta-debating” to popular culture themes like the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. A prize-wheel mechanism and humorous superlative awards were added to emphasize camaraderie over rankings. MUIC Debate Club organizers noted that the event successfully strengthened interpersonal ties across participating institutions while giving debaters an opportunity to refine argumentation skills in an entertaining setting.
