Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Diving Club held an ocean session at Samaesarn, Chonburi province, from June 21 to 22, 2025, for 26 students who completed their SSI Open Water and Advanced Adventurer certifications.

This session marked the final step in their training, where participants applied skills learned in the pool to real open water conditions. Under the supervision of certified instructors, students completed multiple dives focusing on buoyancy, navigation, and safety procedures.

The ocean session also offered students their first glimpse of Thailand’s vibrant marine life, including coral reefs and tropical fish. Beyond diving, the trip built a stronger sense of community within the club.

This activity supports the club’s goal of making scuba diving more accessible and enjoyable for MUIC students. The club congratulated all who achieved certification. “We are proud to welcome you as official SSI divers and part of a growing community who are passionate about underwater exploration and marine conservation.”
