This workshop, led by Mr. Luke Salway from Coachology, outlined a structured framework designed to advance leadership and educational practices by shifting from a traditional, directive model to a more effective coaching-based approach. The core purpose is to cultivate a culture of empowerment where individuals develop the capacity for self-directed growth, problem-solving, and professional accountability.

The base of this methodology was the POW (Problem, Outcome, Way Forward) Coaching Model, a protocol for guiding individuals toward their solutions. This inquiry-driven process facilitates a focused dialogue that moves from clarifying a specific challenge to defining a desired, measurable outcome, and concludes with a commitment to tangible action steps. By emphasizing questioning and listening, the POW model enhances critical thinking and fosters a profound sense of personal ownership over developmental goals.

For instances requiring direct communication, the workshop provides the complementary SHARE (Safety, Highlight Behavior, Acknowledge Impact, Realign Expectations, Empowered Action) Feedback Framework. This model ensures that feedback is delivered constructively and respectfully, focusing on objective behaviors rather than subjective judgments. Its most significant feature is the final step, "Empowered Action," which transitions the conversation back into a coaching dynamic by asking the individual to identify their solutions.

In essence, the program's value lies in this integrated system. By providing distinct yet interconnected tools for both coaching and feedback, it offers a holistic and powerful approach to communication. This synergistic framework equips leaders and teachers with the competencies to build trust, drive performance, and foster a resilient environment where individuals are empowered to take ownership of their continuous improvement.
