Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) American Flag Football Club successfully concluded its weekly club sessions for the 2nd Trimester, focusing on introducing the sport to newcomers and building a welcoming community.
The practice sessions were held every Tuesday and Wednesday at the MU Soccer Field 2 from January 12 to March 18, 2026.
A key objective of the club was to create an accessible entry point for students unfamiliar with the sport. Organizers emphasized that the sessions were designed for all skill levels, including those who had never played a sport before or were new to the rules of American flag football.
To achieve this, senior members of the club took an active role in coaching newcomers. They were on hand to teach the fundamental rules and strategies, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and had a chance to participate in a game, regardless of their prior experience.
The sessions saw a steady flow of interest, with an average of 15 students attending each practice. While many students dropped in for one or two sessions to try the sport, a total of 34 unique participants joined the club’s activities throughout the trimester, highlighting its success in attracting new players.
