The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) Basketball Club successfully wrapped up its "First-Strike Basketball Tournament" recently, an event designed to gauge and foster engagement within the campus basketball community.

Held at the Mahidol University Basketball Court, the tournament spanned two weeks, with high-energy games taking place on June 8, 10, 15, and 17, 2026. The event drew a strong turnout of 80 student athletes divided into 10 teams, featuring eight squads in the men’s division and two in the women’s division.

Organizers reported that the competition exceeded expectations, delivering not only high-stakes athleticism but also camaraderie. While the games were fiercely contested, the tournament ultimately served as a platform for students to build lasting friendships on and off the court.

After days of intense competition, team SYBAU captured the championship title for the men's tournament, while the PINKPANTHERS claimed victory in the women's division. Following the success of the turnout and the positive reception from the student body, organizers expressed high satisfaction with the event's outcomes.
