MUIC’s Career Seminar Explores Future of Software Engineering in the Age of AI

The Alumni Affairs and Career Development Group of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), in collaboration with the MUIC Career Insights Club, Science Division, and Deloitte, organized the final session of the Path for Career Success series for Academic Year 2025–2026, on June 17, 2026, at Room A416, at Aditayathorn Building.

The event, which had the theme, “Will AI Replace Software Engineers? How to Stay Employable (and Valuable) in 2026–2030,” featured a distinguished panel of speakers from Deloitte, including Mr. Tanupong Rattanasawatesun, Manager, Artificial Intelligence & Data Offering; Mr. Atitep Tanapatpiboon, Consultant, Artificial Intelligence & Data Offering and MUIC alumnus from the Class of 2019; Ms. Natchanok Kaewsuriyaporn, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist; and Ms. Pimwalan Duangchan, Talent Acquisition Specialist. The speakers provided valuable insights into the evolving role of software engineers in the era of artificial intelligence. They discussed current trends in AI adoption, the skills and competencies employers seek in technology professionals, and strategies for maintaining long-term career in a rapidly changing job market.

The event also served as an inspiring platform for students to explore future career opportunities and prepare for the challenges and possibilities presented by emerging technologies. The organizers hoped that the knowledge and perspectives shared throughout the session will help students navigate their professional journeys with confidence and adaptability.
