Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted recently a delegation from Chiang Mai University’s College of Arts, Media and Technology to exchange strategies on enhancing student support and international administration.
The Chiang Mai University delegation, led by Dr. Konlawat Klaynak, Associate Dean, was welcomed by Aj. Wimonsiri Hemtanon, MUIC Associate Dean for Student Affairs, together with Mr. Poramin Bheganan, Lecturer of the Science Division, and staff members from the Student Affairs Office and International Affairs Office at Room A418 4th Floor, Aditayathorn Building on May 20, 2026.
The visit focused on exchanging knowledge and best practices in student affairs management and international student administration. Key discussion topics included student development activities aimed at enhancing students’ potential and quality of life, physical and mental health support, scholarship management, and alumni relations.
The delegation also explored MUIC’s approaches to international student support systems and guidance services, as well as cooperative education management, including internship placement, coordination processes, student preparation, and the administration of cooperative education programs.
The study visit marked a significant step in strengthening the academic partnership between the two leading institutions, fostering a shared commitment to student development.
