Two senior Creative Technology students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) have claimed the Grand Prize at the NITMX Fintech Bootcamp 2026: Unlocking the Future of Fintech, triumphing over hundreds of teams nationwide with an innovative payment protection solution.
Ms. Yanisa Khramsaeng and Mr. Noranont Surabote represented MUIC as part of Team FinTechMaiFinJai, a cross-institutional collaboration that also featured three students from Bangkok University. Their winning project, originally dubbed TrustFlow and later rebranded as PAYAN (พยาน), is a dedicated payment protection platform designed to safeguard buyers and sellers during e-commerce transactions across social media and chat channels.
The competition saw fierce nationwide participation, drawing over 1,291 applicants across 300 teams from 54 higher education institutions. Following a rigorous selection process, 50 teams qualified for the bootcamp phase, with 15 finalist teams ultimately selected for an intensive, seven-module incubation program featuring expert-led workshops and mentoring sessions held both online and on-site from August to October 2026.
As the Grand Prize winners, the team earned a fully funded Innovation Tour to Hong Kong and Shenzhen, scheduled for November 1–6, 2026. The all-expenses-paid trip includes attendance at Hong Kong FinTech Week and an exclusive corporate visit to tech giant Tencent's headquarters in Shenzhen.
