MUIC, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital Sign MOU to Advance International Medical Program (SiGMA)

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will support the development and academic delivery of the Doctor of Medicine (International Program) known as the Siriraj Global Medical Academy (SiGMA) during a ceremony held on April 29, 2026 at the Emeritus Professor Dr. Natee Rakpolamuang Conference Room, 5th Floor, Mahidol University, Salaya.

This initiative aims to enhance awareness of the international medical program and strengthen confidence among internal stakeholders within Mahidol University. It also marks a significant milestone in fostering robust academic collaboration between the two institutions, ultimately contributing to the development of globally competent medical professionals.

The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University. Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, MD, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital,   and Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, MD, Dean of Mahidol University International College jointly signed the MOU.

Assoc. Prof. Teera Kolladarungkri, MD, Director of Golden Jubilee Medical Center also attended this landmark event. Golden Jubilee Medical Center operates under the aegis of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

The event was attended by executives from Mahidol University and representatives from both institutions, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing medical education to international standards and strengthening Mahidol University’s global presence.
