Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) MUN Club hosted a Model United Nations Mock Conference on March 22, 2024 at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building.

Considered as the first-ever mock intra-university MUN conference held at MUIC, the event’s main theme was “Addressing and Combating Discrimination Against Religious Minorities in Developed Countries” under the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). The UNHRC served as a simulated platform for constructive dialogue and innovative solutions aiming at eradicating discrimination against religious minorities, fostering a world where diversity is celebrated, and all individuals are entitled to the right to practice their belief freely.

During the conference, participants deliberated and introduced innovative and unconventional solutions to eliminate religious discrimination globally. Together, they engaged in discussions, debates, and resolution-building in the spirit of cooperation and diplomacy.
