Six representatives from Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Student Association (SMOHOHIW) participated in charitable activities aimed at supporting children and underprivileged patients in the community on August 11, 2026.
The student representatives first visited the Foundation for Children in Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, where they donated essential supplies to the foundation. During the visit, they also took part in activities with kindergarten students and learned more about the foundation’s work.
As part of the visit, foundation staff provided a guided tour and shared information about the foundation’s approach to the appropriate care and well-being of children under its supervision. The experience gave the MUIC students an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for children.
Following the visit, the MUIC Student Association representatives traveled to the Siriraj Foundation at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok to donate THB 12,000 raised through student activities. The contribution was made to support the foundation’s efforts to provide assistance and welfare services to underprivileged patients.
Through these activities, the MUIC Student Association demonstrated its commitment to community engagement, social responsibility, and giving back to society, while providing students with meaningful opportunities to learn and contribute beyond the classroom.
