MUIC Student Association Stages “Magical Halloween”

Halloween night was just about right to give Mahidol University International College (MUIC) students a fright. “Magical Halloween” was organized by the Student Association on October 31, 2021 via Zoom with over 200 participants.

The event was a 3-hour activity, including spooky storytelling, night market, fortune telling by Khun Nok from Bird Eye View channel, and lastly a costume contest. There were chances for the participants to be the lucky fan and win prizes. The majority of the participants enjoyed the event and felt the festive atmosphere even though they were at home. The feedback revealed a lot of positive comments and indicated that the students wanted to join more festival events like this again.

The winners of the spooky storytelling contest:
1st Place: Natenapa Sasruksa, majoring in International Business (title of story: “Buriram”)
2nd Place: Monnattha Sornsilp, majoring in Food Science and Technology (title of story: “Souvenir from Osaka”)
3rd Place: Paulpisut Silathong, majoring in Media and Communication (title of story: “Happy Pool Villa”)

The winners of the costume contest:
1st Place: Wirassavin Prasertsukdee, majoring in International Hospitality Management (“Bride and Seek”)
2nd Place: Puriwat Tanansumrit, majoring in Computer Science (“Ben10 and his Ultimate Jetray”)
3rd Place: Monnattha Sornsilp, majoring in Food Science and Technology (“Cruella de Vil”)
