Student leaders at Mahidol University International College (MUIC) honed their skills in a specialized workshop on January 24, 2026, as they prepared to welcome the next class of freshmen. Organized by the Sophomore Class Committee, the “P’Group Workshop” was held at the Sirividhaya Building to equip student mentors for the upcoming “Rubnong” orientation weeks.

The training brought together senior student mentors, known as P’Groups from the Class of 2025 (CMM 678), including members of both the Thai and International Student Committees. The session focused on preparing them for key roles essential to a successful and energetic orientation.

Through a series of interactive activities and simulated scenarios, the workshop drilled down into the specific responsibilities of core leadership positions: “Demon” leaders, tasked with maintaining discipline and morale; “Drum” coordinators, who set the event’s rhythm and energy; and “MCs” (Masters of Ceremonies), who guide public engagement. This hands-on approach allowed participants to understand how their individual roles contribute to the overall success of the orientation events.

By refining their technical skills and building confidence, the student leaders are now better prepared for the final Rubnong weeks. The workshop served as a crucial step in unifying the entire leadership team, ensuring they are ready to provide a safe, high-energy, and cohesive experience for all incoming students.
