Twenty-six students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) participated in the "IC Excursion: Ban Bang Plab Community Learning Adventure" on November 10, 2023 for the purpose of obtaining insights into the exceptional lifestyle of the Ban Bang Plab community.

The event, organized by the Student Affairs Office's Student Development Unit, took place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ban Bang Plab Community Learning Center in Bang Phrom, Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram Province.

The participating students, accompanied by two Student Affairs educators, learned about the history of the community and participated in four booth activities. These activities included coconut sugar production, traditional Thai sweets, and local food preservation.

This community learning trip was a wonderful experience for the students, teaching them the Ban Bang Plab community's cultural history and environmentally friendly practices. The program aimed to foster a link between the academic and grassroots levels by encouraging students to appreciate and contribute to the preservation of local traditions and ways of life.
