The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) basketball program finalized its men's and women's rosters for the upcoming MU Games following a competitive tryout on January 20, 2026. Held at The Brio Mall on Phutthamonthon Sai 4, the event aimed to identify top student-athletes to represent the college.

The women’s team selection saw 11 athletes attend. With the roster requiring 12 players, all candidates were drafted to form the new squad, and coaches immediately began working with the group to build coordination for the tournament ahead.

In contrast, the men’s tryout drew an unexpectedly large turnout of 42 hopefuls, creating a highly competitive environment. After a rigorous series of drills and scrimmages that assessed skill and teamwork, the coaching staff faced the difficult task of narrowing the field. Ultimately, 12 players were selected to form the official men’s team. With both rosters now set, the teams have shifted their focus to intensive training in preparation for the MU Games.
