More than 700 MUIC students attended the farewell party thrown by outgoing Student Association team SMOHOHIW on July 2, 2026 at the Ground Floor of the Aditayathorn Building.

The outgoing Student Association (SMO) committee wrapped up their term on a high note on July 2, 2026, hosting "SMOHOHIW"—a lively, heartwarming farewell party at the Ground Floor of the Aditayathorn Building. Designed to give students a well-deserved break and create lasting memories before the academic term drew to a close, the campus event drew an impressive crowd of 714 participants.

To unlock the event’s festivities, students simply completed a quick registration and evaluation form. In return, they were treated to a feast of street-food favorites, including takoyaki, khanom bueang, deep-fried dumplings, flavorful BBQ, exploding fish balls, and ice cream. Beyond the culinary delights, attendees tested their luck at a prize-spinning wheel, snapped keepsakes at a free photo booth, and crafted personalized souvenirs during a hands-on photo frame workshop.

The air was filled with high energy all day thanks to dynamic live music performances and interactive DJ sets. By blending relaxation, entertainment, and delicious treats, the outgoing committee ensured their final bow was both fun and unforgettable for the entire MUIC community.

On August 22, 2026, I completed my first IRONMAN triathlon in Tallinn, Estonia: a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon. It took me 11 hours and 35 minutes. While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post.
