PC instructors and staff members gathered for their annual team-building workshop on Friday, July 3, 2026, in the conference facilities of a Bangkok hotel. The workshop aimed to foster collaborative relationships, develop assessments, and improve support staff services and system upgrades.
The team-building workshop started with a warm-up quiz and ice-breaking activity led by Mr. Paul Murphy, Assistant Director of PC. The participants then joined one of two groups—faculty or staff—for academic review or service development. Mr. Mark Manning, Director of PC, led the review and development session for the instructors. The purpose of the workshop was to evaluate current assessments, create new assessments, and increase their validity and reliability.
In the staff review and development session, Ms. Satja Sopha, Senior Secretary of PC, discussed the enhancement of PC support staff services. The staff also worked on developing the PC Smart System, which will support key academic processes, including database management.
Overall, the off-campus workshop strengthened relationships among PC instructors and staff, enhanced instructors' skills, improved English and mathematics assessments, and advanced staff services and system upgrades.
