The Rakkaew Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a one-day cultural excursion to Ayutthaya on June 19, 2026, providing 29 students with an immersive look into Thailand’s historical heritage.

The educational itinerary featured major historical and cultural landmarks, starting with Wat Mahathat, where students studied the architectural legacy and history of the ancient Ayutthaya kingdom. The group then traveled to the Kong Khlong Market to participate in interactive, hands-on workshops dedicated to traditional Thai craftsmanship, including palm leaf weaving and the preparation of traditional cotton candy roti (roti sai mai).

The field trip concluded at the Arts of Kingdom Museum, where participants viewed exhibitions highlighting Thai history and master-level craftsmanship. Organizers noted that the trip successfully achieved its goal of fostering experiential learning and cultural appreciation outside the traditional classroom.
