Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Rakkaew Club hosted a unique workshop on March 4, 2026 that combined artistic expression with traditional Thai culture. The “Painting Herbal Sachet” workshop, held at Aditayathorn Building, offered students a creative and calming respite from their academic schedules.
A total of 46 participants engaged in the hands-on activity, where they were invited to paint and decorate their own fabric sachets using a variety of colors and artistic styles. The workshop served as a dual platform for fostering creativity and promoting cultural education.
While designing their sachets, students learned about the benefits and uses of traditional Thai herbs, which are renowned for their natural fragrances and therapeutic properties. Upon completing their artwork, participants filled their custom sachets with their choice of aromatic herbs, creating personalized souvenirs that connect them to Thailand’s rich heritage.
The event successfully created a tranquil atmosphere, allowing students to relax, connect with friends, and engage in a meaningful cultural experience. The Rakkaew Club’s workshop stands as another example of MUIC’s commitment to providing holistic and culturally enriching opportunities for its student community.
