The Student Association of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized “Health Week and Blood Donation” on May 5 - 6, 2026 at the Ground Floor and Room A310 of Aditayathorn Building. The activity was held to promote health awareness, disease prevention, and social responsibility among students through a variety of educational and healthcare services. A total of 548 students joined the event.
The activities included basic health check-ups and BMI checking in order for students to know their physical health and learn how to improve their daily habits. There was also a smoking cessation service provided by Kanchanabhisek Medical Center Fa Sai Clinic, where students received advice and support on how to quit smoking. In addition, there were exhibitions about e-cigarettes that educated participants on the health risks and long-term effects of vaping and smoking-related behaviors.
Students also joined a first-aid training session to learn basic emergency care and lifesaving skills. One of the highlights of the event was the blood donation activity organized together with Siriraj Hospital. Students and staff were encouraged to donate blood to help patients and support the community.
Overall, the event helped students become more aware of their health, learn useful health and medical knowledge, and take part in helping others through blood donation and community activities.
