THM Club Holds Workshop on Easing Back Pain

The THM Club’s second activity of the 3rd Trimester T3/2022 emphasized having a better understanding of physical wellbeing as well as mental health. This activity entitled “Knock Off Back Pain,”featured a team of guest speakers who are certified physical therapists who taught the participants how to deal with back pains through techniques that are both easy and simple.

This activity, held at Room A402, Aditayathorn Building, consisted of a lecture on the causes and effects of back pain and also a workshop session that taught the 33 participants how to perform physical massages and other movements to counteract back pains. These were followed by one-on-one discussions with the participants which allowed them to ask more specific answers regarding questions about back pain and other unique medical conditions.

The club in a statement thanked the therapist for helping spread awareness and skills in dealing with back pain. It also thanked the participants and expressed its wish to see them in the next activity.
