Volunteer Club Completes Successful One-Day Activity Camp in Kanchanaburi

The Volunteer Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) brought 35 student participants to Ban Sao Hong School in Kanchanaburi Province on June 20, 2026, for a full-day youth engagement and community service camp.

Achieving a 100% participation rate from expected attendees, the initiative engaged elementary school students through hands-on educational activities while offering university volunteers cross-disciplinary collaboration and community service experience.

Following the activity's conclusion, club organizers noted plans to optimize future travel schedules and provide additional refreshments to enhance participant comfort during full-day off-campus trips.

On August 22, 2026, I completed my first IRONMAN triathlon in Tallinn, Estonia: a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon. It took me 11 hours and 35 minutes. While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post. The point is that MUIC supported me in achieving this personal goal through the 40th Anniversary Academic Changemakers Scholarship.
