Twenty-eight student volunteers from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) traveled to Kanchanaburi Province on July 20, 2026, to renovate facilities at Ban Phaisee School as part of the Volunteer Club's "1-Day Construction Camp."
Achieving a 93% turnout rate of projected participants, the student initiative focused on hands-on physical labor to deliver needed infrastructural repairs and updates to the local primary school.
Beyond improving school amenities, the project provided students with practical trade skills and real-world community service experience outside the traditional classroom setting. Club organizers reported that future iterations of the initiative will incorporate refined logistical and catering planning to further streamline operations.
