As part of Mahidol University’s philosophy, the college rewards excellence in academics and contributions to society. Students who are awarded a scholarship should be outstanding students with good behavior. They should have a good academic standing and never have broken the Code of Student Conduct.

Scholarships for high school potential students

Scholarship Program Details of Scholarship No. of Scholarship Criteria
Scholarship for highest performance student on each entrance examination
– For student who has the highest performance on the college entrance examination for each entry
– Tuition fee waiver for 4 years

– Students who are studying in high school (last term)
– Students must maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.50  each trimester during the scholarship period
– Considered from the result of each entrance examination
ASEAN Students Scholarship
– For ASEAN nationals (except Thais)
– 50% of tuition fee waiver for 4 years
4 scholarships per year
– ASEAN nationals (except Thais)
– Students who completed high school from ASEAN countries (except in Thailand)
– Students must maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.50 each trimester during the scholarship period
– Students must complete their studies in 4 years
– Considering from IELTS/TOEFL and ACT (Math Score)/SAT (Math Score) testing score
ASEAN Students Scholarship: Full scholarship for Cambodia
– For Cambodian Students from the University in Cambodia that has an MOU with MUIC
– Tuition fee waiver for 2 years
1 Scholarship per year
– Students who completed high school from Cambodia
– Study for at least 2 years from the University in Cambodia that has an MOU with MUIC
– Apply for International Relations and Global Affairs major (Social Science Division)
– Considering from IELTS/TOEFL and ACT (Math Score)/SAT (Math Score) testing score
– Students must maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.00 each trimester during the scholarship period
– Students must complete their studies in 2 years
ASEAN Students Scholarship: Partial scholarship for Cambodia
– For Cambodian Students from the University in Cambodia that has an MOU with MUIC
– 50% of tuition fee waiver for 2 years

Scholarships for MUIC Student

Foreign Language Ambassador Scholarship
– Budget of 1,000,000 Baht per year
Depending on the committee’s consideration
– Students must register for a minor language program
– Students must attend the Foreign Language Summer Program for a month which is organized by MUIC Foreign Language Department
– Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above
– At least B+ grade in the language in the 2 previous Trimesters

Outbound Exchange Program and Research Activities
Budget of 2,100,000 Baht per year

ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Program Scholarship
– For 2nd year students Business Administration, Science or THM’s major
– Exempt from the tuition fee and other fees
– 12 credits or 3 subjects from abroad can be transferred
– The exchange can be for only 1 trimester
10 scholarships per year
  1. CUM-GPA of 2.85 or above 
  2. Be a Thai national and have knowledge of Thai culture
  3. Participate in social activities

 

MUICSA Scholarships
For MUICSA Committees by waiving tuition fees
–  24,000 baht per year for President
–  18,000 baht per year for Vice President
–  12,000 baht for each Committee
Depending on the MUICSA Committees in each year
  1. Selected as a member of the Student Association Committees
  2. Strictly follow the university code of conduct (especially the Student Association Regulations)
  3. Meet requirements of the Student Association Regulations
MUIC Financial Aid Grants
– Budget of 750,000 Baht per year
– Scholarship given will be used as a tuition fee waiver for the next trimester
– Maximum of 50,000 Baht per scholarship
– No. of scholarships and the amount depends on the committee’s consideration
  1. Registered for at least 1 year
  2. CUM-GPA above 2.50 and must register for at least 12 credits in that trimester
  3. Strictly follow the university code of conducts
Certificates for MUIC Academic Excellence
For academic excellence in each major
– A maximum of 2 certificates for each major
N/A
– Two students with the highest cumulative GPA in each major, with at least 3.25
– Credits must exceed 61
 
For General Education courses
– A maximum of 2 certificates for General Education courses
N/A
– Two students with the highest cumulative GPA in General Education courses, with at least 3.25

Certificates for Outstanding Sportsperson
 
 
For students who were selected as Mahidol University Outstanding Sportsperson
Depending on the official announcement from Mahidol University

Thai Government Loans

60,000 – 70,000 Baht per year
– The loan with interest has to be repaid two years after graduation

  5. Attended the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for 36 hours
