An alumna from Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Communication Design Program (CDP), Ms. Jatuporn “Sea” Sartpant (Class of 2024), received recognition in the Degree Shows 2024 when her entry was selected as one of the finalists.

Ms. Jatuporn’s entry—her thesis project entitled “PackDical”—was in the Graphic Design category. The award ceremony was held online recently.

PackDical is a medical packaging design brand, redesigning the product label and manual for home medication in Thailand outpatient care setting.

The products are designed to address the issue of medicine misuse by implementing principles of design, highlighting significant information. PackDical is dedicated to elevating the product label, which is the only source of information for outpatients, as well as providing clear guidelines. Thus, patients who do self-treatment at home can have more understanding of their prescribed regimens through given labels and manuals.
