CDP Students’ Works Displayed at "CreaTech: The New Reality" Exhibition

The works of three students from Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Communication Design program are currently on display in the "CreaTech: The New Reality" exhibition on the 5th Floor of the Thai Creative and Design Center (TCDC) / Creative Economy Agency (CEA) offices in Bangkok.

The exhibition was set up to showcase works by professionals in the creative industry. It also included works of selected students. CEA invited CDP to participate resulting in having the works of three of its students being included in the exhibition. These were in the areas of visual art, design, digital interactive media, and music and entertainment.

The exhibition will be running from now until October 29, 2023.

The names of the students and the titled of their projects are as follows:

1. Projection Mapping Motion Graphics for MU Choir for the song: “บนหนทางใหม่” displayed during the MU Orientation Day, August 31, 2023 at Prince Mahidol Hall, designed and animated by Mr. Plu Thanasarnchinda. (CDP student)

2. Metaverse Project entitled “Insane Asylum,” an exploration of the verse space that inspired the PS1 Game, designed and produced by Mr. Dennis Ananda Scheucher . (CT student)

3. Metaverse Project entitled “Under the Blue,” the display and exploration of sea animals in three underwater ocean zones: 1. Euphotic (sunlight) Zone, 2. Dysphotic (twilight) Zone, and 3. Aphotic (darkness) Zone, designed and produced by Ms. Natchaya Jitpinityol. (CDP student)

Under CEA’s Virtual Media Lab, 12 universities including MUIC signed a memorandum of understanding on October 4, 2023. The Virtual Media Lab is meant to create a space for users to experiment and learn about virtual production technology which can be a great way to foster innovation and education in this field.
