Mathematics is the language of modern science, technology, and finance. The Applied Mathematics program at MUIC equips students with the analytical and problem-solving skills essential for today’s data-driven world.

Students gain a solid foundation in mathematical modeling, statistics, and computation, while developing the flexibility to apply mathematics to real-world problems in diverse areas such as finance, data analytics, IT, and education.

Through I-Design, students can tailor their studies with minors in Decision Making or Statistics, or follow the Financial Mathematics track. The program also offers a Certificate in Actuarial Mathematics, with courses aligned with SOA exam topics—an excellent starting point for students aspiring to careers as actuaries or financial analysts.
