Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Digital Art Club organized a fun art challenge for any digital artists who would submit their artworks in order to be featured on the club’s Instagram page in exchange for AT hours.

Dubbed “Weekly Art Challenge” which ran from May 19 - June 1, 2024, the club set themes including “Mermaids for May (Mermay)” and “Fairies for June (Junefae),” challenging the 19 participating students.

By hosting this event, the Digital Art Club hopes to be able to offer art ideas to those who may be suffering from artist’s block and also help artists get out of their comfort zone by suggesting a theme that the artist themselves might not have experimented with before.

By using the club’s Instagram page to feature the entries, club officers said they hope they were able to spread the artists’ works to a wider audience.
