The Innovative Design Cooking Club (IDC) of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized the “Healthy Heals x North Carolina Activity” and brought 15 student volunteers to  Yaowalak Wittaya Thonburi School in Bangkok on February 21, 2025.

The “Healthy Heals x North Carolina Activity” taught the pupils the importance of proper sleep, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise. Through engaging, interactive lessons, they learned that they need 8-10 hours of sleep each night for better health.

The young pupils also discovered how to make healthier food choices by including more vegetables and fruits in their meals. Additionally, the activity introduced new English vocabulary words related to health and wellness, helping the school children improve their language skills.

The event included fun games and group exercises to help the pupils understand how daily habits impact their well-being. A special yoga demonstration showed them simple exercises they can practice at home or during playtime.

By the end of the event, the young students received useful tips and felt motivated to make healthier choices every day. This activity helped them build key skills and mindsets for a healthier life in the future.
