Investment and Planning Workshop for Students

The Investment Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted an exciting workshop on investment and financial planning, equipping participants with essential tools for success at Room A449, Aditayathorn Building on October 2, 2024.

The 40 participating students of the workshop entitled, “Foundations of Asset Management,” explored the concept of SMART financial goals, learning to set clear, actionable objectives for short, intermediate, and long-term achievements.

The guest speakers were the following Finance students:                

1. Pakpoom Meprasert (2nd Year)

2.  Supawich Kavinchiraphach (2nd Year)

3.  Phimtawan Yaemsanguan (4th Year)

4. Nichapa Budsara (4th Year)

The workshop emphasized the importance of early retirement planning, highlighting options like Super Savings Funds (SSF) and Retirement Mutual Funds (RMF) to tackle inflation and rising healthcare costs. The students also learned about the benefits of passive income sources, such as dividends and rental properties, as pathways to financial independence.

The event wrapped up with insightful strategies for navigating investment risks, leaving everyone inspired and ready to take control of their financial futures.
