MUIC Attends Thailand Education and Jobs Fair 2025 in Cambodia

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) participated in the Thailand Education and Jobs Fair 2025 on February 7-8, 2025, at Connexion, Diamond Island, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The event was organized by Go Study Thailand and supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh.

This year’s event was held under the theme: “Together for a Better Future,” commemorating the 75th anniversary of Thailand-Cambodia diplomatic relations.

The Education and Job Fair this year featured a wide array of educational and job opportunities from various prominent Thai universities and companies.

The two-day event commenced on February 7, 2025 with a meeting between Thai educational institutions and the Association of Higher Education in Cambodia, with approximately 100 participants in attendance. The session featured welcoming remarks by H.E. Mr. Tull Traisorat, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia. In the evening, a networking dinner was hosted at the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, bringing together representatives from Thai educational institutions and the Cambodian higher education sector to strengthen academic collaborations.

On February 8, 2025, the second day of the fair, focus was on educational opportunities in Thailand through a series of panel discussions and presentations attended by approximately 500 participants:

Panel 1: Scholarship Opportunities in Thailand – Presented by leading Thai universities, offering insights into various scholarship programs available for Cambodian students.

Panel 2: Orientation to Studying in Thailand – Organized by the Network of Thailand Alumni in Cambodia, providing firsthand experiences and guidance for prospective students.

Presentations by Leading Thai Universities – Individual institutions, including MUIC, showcased their programs, admission procedures, and student life opportunities in Thailand.

The Thailand Education and Jobs Fair 2025 aimed to introduce Thai educational institutions and academic programs to Cambodian students, increasing their awareness and accessibility.

The event also provided essential information on the application process, scholarships, and student life in Thailand, encouraging Cambodian students to explore higher education opportunities in Thailand.
