MUIC Attends Virtual Media Lab

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) sent a representative to the Virtual Media Lab organized by the Creative Economy Agency on October 4, 2023 at the Grand Postal Office, Bangkok.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology, represented MUIC in the event which saw attendees from 12 universities.

The Virtual Media Lab is meant to create a space for users to experiment, text and learn about virtual production technology which can be a great way to foster innovation and education in this field. The organizers said that “raising the level of Thai content to create a soft power phenomenon in the international market is a commendable goal and will have a significant impact on Thailand’s global influence and reputation.” It added that “creating an area for students to use without charge to prepare for careers in the content industry and transition effectively to the labor market is a valuable initiative that can foster education, skills development and workforce readiness.”

Disney Exec Shares Marketing Magic with MUIC Students

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Media and Communication Program hosted a special lecture, “From Story to Impact: Marketing Great Stories to Real Consumers Through the Disney Lens,” on March 19, 2026, in the Screening Room of the Aditayathorn Building. The guest speaker, Mr. Nawin Sribhadung, Integrated Marketing Lead for Disney Entertainment (The Walt Disney Company Thailand – S.E.A.), walked students and faculty members through Disney’s approach to integrated marketing. Drawing on hands-on experience, he explained how storytelling, strategy and cross-platform campaigns are crafted to reach and resonate with real consumers.
