Dr. Prateep Wongverayut, Assistant Dean for Human Resources of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), attended the China Education Expo (CEE) in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China (PRC) on October 26, 2023.

Hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), the combined exhibition and tour have been held every autumn in Beijing, Shanghai and other major cities since 2000. Acclaimed as the leading event for overseas schools to expand their presence in the world’s potentially largest recruitment market, CEE boasts of the active involvement each year of more than 20 countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungry, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the Netherlands, the UK and USA and over 600 overseas schools from about 40 countries and regions resulting in approximately 60,000 visitors across China.

This major event is aimed at attracting more Chinese students to study in Thailand. Benefits include building more relationships and cooperation networks between representatives from various universities in Thailand and educational agencies of the People’s Republic of China as well. This year, around 500 participants visited the exhibition.
