MUIC Joins 9th Thailand Education Fair, Hosts First Open Day in Myanmar

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) took part in the 9th Thailand Education Fair, Myanmar 2025, held on May 24, 2025, at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel in Yangon. The event, organized by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, was officially opened with a welcome address by H.E. Mongkol Visitstump, Thailand’s Ambassador to Myanmar.

A total of 21 Thai universities participated in the fair, attracting more than 500 Myanmarese students and parents eager to explore educational opportunities in Thailand. MUIC’s booth received strong interest from the attendees, who were keen to learn about the college’s international programs, admissions process, and student life.

On the following day, May 25, MUIC hosted its first-ever Open Day in Myanmar at Jasmine Palace Hotel, welcoming around 100 guests. The event featured presentations about MUIC’s academic offerings and campus experience, followed by interactive sessions with faculty and staff.

Additionally, the MUIC team visited Signature Akademia SAT & GED Center and Concept X International School in Yangon, further strengthening connections and outreach efforts within the local academic community.
