MUIC Official is Guest Speaker in MU’s Faculty of Pharmacy Event

An official from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) was invited as a guest speaker at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University’s Knowledge Exchange Seminar (KM Seminar) on May 7, 2025 at MU’s Phayathai campus in Rachatewi, Bangkok.

Dr. Brian J. Phillips, Program Director of Creative Technology of MUIC’s Science Division, and also  Assistant to the Associate Dean of Educational Affairs, joined other academic panelists in the seminar which had the theme, “Bachelor of Pharmacy (International) and the Process of Developing Teaching Management.” Dr. Phillips’ topic was “Assessment Strategies and Designing Feedback in International Classrooms.”

He said that he found it enjoyable sharing with the audience MUIC’s progress over the years, “especially on how we went from 300 students to 4,000 enrollees. I also discussed both the pleasure and challenges of developing a new academic program.”

According to the Office of Academic Affairs, MUIC started teaching General Education and Basic Science courses to students of the International Program of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the current academic year. The first cohort consisted of 14 students and this number is expected to rise to approximately 30 students in the succeeding academic years.
