Aiming to broaden its network in research, academic services, and faculty exchange, Mahidol University International College (MUIC) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Lucerne School of Business on August 22, 2024, at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok.
Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, and Prof. Dr. Christine Böckelmann, Dean of the Lucerne School of Business, signed the MOA, paving the way for future collaboration between the two institutions.
Under the agreement, MUIC and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Lucerne School of Business committed committed to the promotion of research and academic services through several ways. These include plans for joint faculty projects, joint activities involving student internship activities, and co-supervision of Bachelor thesis projects.
Additionally, the agreement, which is effective for five years, includes provisions for short- and long-term exchanges of faculty, support staff, and research scholars. These exchanges may involve sabbaticals, faculty development leave, visiting professorships, research and teaching collaborations, attendance at seminars and conferences, and other activities in areas of mutual interest and expertise.
