MUIC Signs MOU with Marriott International  

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) and Marriott International signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 20, 2024 that includes an internship program for students of the Travel and Service Business Entrepreneurship (BM-TSB) major program, and also research and special project collaborations between personnel of the two organizations.

Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, and Khun Priya Panjikar, Area Director of Human Resources Thailand, Cambodia & Myanmar, Marriott International signed the agreement at The St. Regis Bangkok located on Ratchadamri Road.

The MOU, which also involves Marriott International’s 46 affiliate hotels in Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Krabi, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Khao Lak, Rayong, and others, is a major development in the efforts of MUIC and Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Division to provide professional training to their students and research and academic collaboration to their faculty members.

Also attending the signing ceremony were four MUIC alumni who now occupy significant positions in The St. Regis Bangkok. They are: Ms. Kodchakorn Udomsinwattana, Senior Event Manager; Ms. Thitima Pitivarawong, Assistant HR and Training Manager; Mr. Chatkata Warapachara, Accounts Director; and Mr. Nattasit Chotichaiyon, Reservation Sales Agent.
