MUIC SMO Organizes Term 1 Club Expo

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Student Association (known by its Thai acronym, SMO) held this trimester’s Club Expo on September 20-21, 2022 at Aditayathorn Building.

Nong Mun Muang (SMO’s mascot) opened the doors of Smozilla airport and guided MUIC students as they traveled around the world of clubs.

Club Expo attracted approximately 1,880 participants, giving them the opportunity to learn more about MUIC’s 28 student clubs and sign up for activities in the field that they are interested in. The expo included performances by club members along with information-sharing, fun games, and interactions with club committees and members.

There were also contests that offered prizes such as Starbucks cards, micro brick sets, Halloween movie tickets and others. The expo was an opportunity for students to sign up for clubs that specializes in their interests and favorite hobbies.

The project aims to support educational opportunities for under-resourced schools in provincial areas by donating lecture chairs and office equipment to enhance teaching and learning activities.
