The Flag Football team of Mahidol University International Club (MUIC) recently competed in the Thailand Flag Football Championship 2024, winning 4th Place and achieving 9th Place overall.

Held at Assumption University on October 26-27, 2024, the tournament featured 10 competing teams from across the country.

The first day was particularly memorable, as it marked the MUIC team’s biggest game since the Covid-19 pandemic. Facing physical and mental challenges like never before, the players competed against teams with years of experience, while it had only been practicing together for about four months. Despite the odds, the MUIC players showed resilience and determination.

On the second day, the team achieved a milestone by securing its first-ever win in an exhilarating match against the “Seamen.” With mere seconds left on the clock, MUIC’s players scored the final point to clinch victory. This triumphant moment was a testament to the hard work and spirit of the MUIC Flag Football Team, as it proudly represented the institution on a national stage.

The team said it would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to team coach, Mr. Roman Chirasanta, for his unwavering support and dedication, as well as Aj. Pui, who supported the team in several different aspects. Their guidance and encouragement played an integral role in helping the team reach this milestone.

This win is not just a victory for the team but a stepping stone for future success. Go MUIC!
