Mahidol University International College (MUIC) welcomed 5,000 visitors—high school students with their teachers and parents, including those who pre-registered and walk-ins—during “MUIC Open Days 2024” which was held on June 28-29, 2024 at Aditayathorn Building, MUIC, Salaya Campus.

Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, officially welcomed the visitors (with MUIC executives) on June 28 at the Spectrum Screening Space, 5th Floor, Aditayathorn Building.

There were two inspirational talk sessions in the morning, namely, “Fuel Your Fire: Passion’s Power” by Ms. Thiraya Thiranakanat, CEO & Co-founder, Career Visa Digital; and “Explore Yourself” by Ms. Cherprang Areekul, MUIC Alumna, Artist and Manager, Independent Artist Management (iAM) Co., Ltd.; Mr. Pobek Pornpongmetta, MUIC Alumnus, News Presenter, MC, and Educator; and Ms. Nicha  Poonpoka, MUIC current student, 2nd Runner-up, Miss Universe Thailand 2023.

The visiting students—a large number of whom were interested in pursuing their bachelor’s degree studies at MUIC—learned a lot about the College during the two-day exhibition event which had the theme “Who Am I?”

There were also exhibition booths for MUIC’s 17 majors, giving the visiting students the opportunity to learn more about the degree programs they are interested in. They also attended major workshops and mock classes to experience a typical MUC class session. The visitors also had a meetup with current students to learn more about campus life. The Student Association and the student exchange program also came up with engaging activities. For those interested, groups of visitors were given guided tours of MUIC’s facilities and Salaya campus by MU Tour. All these fun activities were topped by lucky draws with exclusive MUIC merchandise items as prizes.
