MUIC Wins 6 Awards in International Competition for Sustainable Business

During the month of May 2024, the students from Mahidol University International College’s  Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course of Market Structures and Pricing Strategies actively participated in the Global Poster Competition on Sustainable International Business, organized by the Sustainable International Business Partnership network.

The competition asked students to conduct research on international businesses, to identify one major sustainable development challenge related to the activity of such business and major efforts that the business is already developing to address such challenges, proposing further transformations and effective actions that could help the business address the sustainable development challenge. Overall, the project aimed to answer the research question: “What transformation should an international business organization adopt in order to take effective action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?”

In total for the global competition, there were 69 posters reviewed, which were submitted by more than 150 students, affiliated with 15 different universities across three continents. MUIC’s BBA students submitted a total of eight different posters.

Of the 69 posters submitted by all participants all over the world, 16 were shortlisted. All of the 8 posters submitted by MUIC-BBA students were shortlisted.
