MUIC’s First-ever Chinese New Year Celebration

On January 23, 2023, MUIC’s International Student Counselors (ISCs) hosted the college’s first ever Chinese New Year celebration called the “Spring Festival Feast.” It was an entire college event with over 380 participants. The event held a range of Chinese cultural activities such as “Hong-bao” giving (red envelope), “Fu” Chinese calligraphy writing, red ribbon wish writing, and a Chinese culture-inspired photo booth.

MUIC is Thailand’s leading international college that focuses not only on academics but also on cultural exchange and awareness. MUIC loves to celebrate the different cultures within its community and allows its students to be culturally enriched.

The event organizers were none other than the International Student Counselors (ISCs). The ISCs is an organization within MUIC composed of full-time international students who have a vision to promote internationalism and cultural exchange in MUIC. They truly aim to greatly improve the lives of the international students studying at MUIC thus making MUIC the perfect place for international students in Thailand.
