The Science Society Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted a Scientific Podcast on YouTube on April 2, 2025.

“Real Aliens Take on Space” was a thought-provoking podcast episode that delved into the mysteries of the cosmos through an imaginative lens. Presented as a fictional roundtable discussion among extraterrestrial beings, the episode offers a unique perspective on human space exploration, planetary science, and the universe at large. Each "alien" character brought their own quirky personality and "home planet" science to the table, resulting in humorous yet surprisingly insightful commentary on topics such as black holes, space-time, the search for intelligent life, and the future of interstellar travel.

While the format is light-hearted and imaginative, the podcast remained grounded in real astronomical concepts and current scientific theories. The alien hosts debated everything from the feasibility of warp drives to whether Earthlings are ready for first contact, weaving scientific facts into a fun, fictional narrative. This mix of creativity and education makes the episode both accessible and engaging for listeners of all ages.

The goal of the podcast was not only to entertain but also to inspire curiosity about the universe and encourage critical thinking about humanity’s place in it. Whether you're a science nerd or just curious about what "aliens" might think of us, this podcast is worth a listen.
