Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Soccer Club held a “Woman Soccer Practice Activity” every Wednesday (September 27; and October 4, 11, 18, 25; and November 1, 8, 15, 2023) at Figure & Playground, Salaya.

The activity, with 32 students participating, started off with stretching, going through some drills and footwork, and ending with a friendly match among participants. The players started by gathering in a circle for some dynamic stretches and warm-ups. Afterwards, they divided into groups for some drills which include skills for basic passing movements, shooting forms and combinations among players as well as basic composure of defense.

Lastly, a friendly match took place incorporating the concepts and drills used in the second segment. To encourage competition among participants, if scores were tallied, there would be a penalty shootout.

All the activities were conducted to adjust participants from beginner to advance levels regardless of age gaps. The Soccer Club said it is very grateful that the practice sessions went well and that everyone really had a great time and made new friends during rehearsals.
