Nature Lovers Clubs Hosts Film Screening

The Nature Lovers Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted an engaging "Eco-Cinema Celebration" event on June 5, 2024 from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm at Active Learning Classroom A416, Aditayathorn Building.

With a small yet excited group of attendees, the event celebrated World Environment Day through an afternoon of education, inspiration, and environmental awareness.

To celebrate World Environment Day, the “Eco-Cinema Celebration” featured a special screening of Disney's "Elemental." The film, chosen for its focus on the importance and urgency of environmental conservation, captivated the audience with its compelling narrative and stunning visuals.

Through this event, the Nature Lovers Club aimed to foster a deeper understanding of environmental issues and inspire participants to take action towards conservation. The “Eco-Cinema Celebration” is a testament to the club's commitment to raising awareness and promoting sustainability within the community. There were 10 students who joined the event.

On August 22, 2026, I completed my first IRONMAN triathlon in Tallinn, Estonia: a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon. It took me 11 hours and 35 minutes. While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post. The point is that MUIC supported me in achieving this personal goal through the 40th Anniversary Academic Changemakers Scholarship.
