Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Nature Lovers Club organized its third activity for Term 2 of Academic Year 2022 - 2023 called “Bottle Caps - Twist & Drop.”

From February 6 - March 10, 2023, the club set up donation boxes in front of Termtem Room in Aditayathorn Building, and in front of the elevator bank of Building 1 where participants can drop off the bottle caps they were donating.

The donated bottle caps were sent to the Precious Plastic Co., a community-based plastic recycling initiative, for recycling into new products such as plant pots and decoration pieces. The Nature Lovers Club said this kind of activity helps reduce plastic waste and provides MUIC students an alternative solution in disposing of their plastic waste.

Many participants who were interested in this activity donated numerous bottle caps, enabling the club to collect over 1,160 pieces. These caps will be combined with those that the club itself had collected in the previous years and will be donated to Precious Plastic Co.

The club expressed its appreciation and gratitude to all MUIC students who joined this activity.
