Internships (IHM)

Internship I

THM students in their second or third year of studies are required to take the three-month off-campus internship at our selected-industry-partner organizations. The internship I is committed to train students in Travel and Service Business on the operational practices and functions. Students will have options to choose to work in one of the available Travel and Service Business related companies selected by the THM division. By having a real working experience within the industry, the THM students will gain real-life experience and genuine insights into the running operations and management of a fully-operating industry workplaces.

Internship II

Once THM students have completed their studies and fulfilled their academic requirements, they are required to undertake this second 3-month internship. Students can choose either domestic internship or international internship in travel and service business related fields, such as hotels, airlines, travel agencies, tour operations, F&B firms, event organizers, tourism-related organizations, spas, hospitals and others. They will be evaluated by the firm’s supervisors and the Internship Program Manager.
