Research Excellence Community

The Research Excellence Community was established as an initiative by the Research and Promotion Management Unit at Mahidol University International College. The goal is to develop and facilitate a team of high potential researchers that produce high impact research findings, publications and products, as well as strengthen multidisciplinary research networks and focus on research proposal writing in applying for external funding.

Meet the MUIC Research Clusters

RPM will host “Meet the MUIC Research Clusters” on Friday 8 April at 10AM in Charinyarasami Hall (3rd Floor Aditayathorn Building). The Mahidol University Consortium for Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts (SSHA) has also been been invited to expand collaborative networks. All MUIC faculty are invited to attend the event.

Knowledge Commons Event

On Thursday, February 3, 2022 the Knowledge Commons hosted their second event under the theme of “Collaboration, Connection, Impact”. MUIC faculty involved in collaborative research were invited to present their findings and research output via Zoom. The event was well attended and provided an opportunity for faculty and students to ask questions and learn more about collaborative research being conducted at MUIC.

MUIC-IHRI Meet & Greet

On Friday, January 28, 2022 executives, faculty, and staff from MUIC met with administrators and staff from the Institute of HIV Research and Innovation at their clinics and offices located in Chamchuri Tower in Bangkok. The collaboration between MUIC and IHRI will involve research initiatives, service learning, and other types of activities.

On Friday, June 11, 2021 the Deans and staff from the Research and Promotion Management (RPM) Section, along with faculty members from MUIC, met with the Director and staff members of IHRI to discuss developing further research collaborations between the two organizations. Additional meetings in the near future will be organized to plan multidisciplinary research projects and academic products.

The Research Excellence Community was launched on Friday, March 5, 2021 in an online meeting. Over 30 faculty members joined the meeting to learn more about research initiatives, membership, as well as upcoming activities and events.
