Mahidol University International College (MUIC) offers a broad spectrum of undergraduate degree programs designed to develop a new generation of academics, international managers and industry professionals. There are 19 undergraduate majors, including five in the Arts, eight in the Sciences and six in Business Administration, along with 22 minors.
MUIC currently serves approximately 3,220 students, with a full and part-time faculty (60 percent of whom are foreign nationals) that represents a wide range of international expertise in all subject areas. The student/teacher ratio is 28:1.
The academic calendar is based on the American system that includes three trimesters and a summer session, with each trimester running for a period of 12 weeks. Generally, students require four years or 12 trimesters of study to graduate.

In order to graduate, students are normally required to complete between 180-190 credits from three areas of study:
General Education: 60 credits
Major Field of Study: 108-120 credits
Free Electives: 8 credits
An evaluation of a student’s academic achievement is recorded by letter grades.
