MUIC Global Trends: Global Health

MUIC Global 2024 welcomes students from all over the world who are interested in global trends, and the theme this year is Global Health. The certificate of achievement is awarded at the end of the program. The program is divided into 2 modules:

Module 1 Global Health and Innovation

Students will be able to participate in clinical exposures and debriefings by expert clinicians, interactive case-based sessions in tropical medicine, and field trips related to academic topics with local students.

Module 2 Designing Health and Innovation Challenges 

Students will be able to brainstorm and collaborate with students from different backgrounds of study to develop a business plan using case-based problem solving in Thailand.

Module 1:
Global Health and Innovation (June 1 – July 12)

The rate for two months is 20,000 THB per room and will be applied to students who take both Module 1 + Module 2

*Accommodation outside campus: 8,900- 22,000 THB (≈248 – 612 USD) per month (The exchange rate used for the calculation above is 36 baht/USD)

Eligible Applicants

  • Undergraduate students who have completed at least one semester at college or university or
  • Students who have completed undergraduate studies

*Fields of study in Biology, Biomedical Science, Public Health, Nursing, and health science-related are recommended for Module 1.

 

Required Documents

  • Copy of your passport’s identity page
  • IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent from a non-English speaking country (In case students do not have English scores, please send a recommendation letter from your English language professor or your advisor for further consideration.)
  • Home university unofficial transcript
  • Passport-style photo  (Sample photo: PDF)

  2. A letter of acceptance and a letter of visa application will be issued. 
  3. Apply for a visa and arrange your air ticket.
